Retirement Homes

Teams of our members regularly visit four local retirement homes, bringing the Gospel to the senior citizens through friendly chat, preaching and music.

For some, it provides a nostalgic return to earlier days of church life. For others it is their last opportunity for salvation. This has been an opportunity that a few have taken, proving the valuable necessity of this work.

Street Evangelism

Every few weeks, on a Saturday morning, a number of the church meet in the band stand in the Cannock town centre to proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.

This regular witness has proved to be surprisingly effective and fruitful in these cynical times.

School Assemblies

A team within the church frequently visit local schools to take part in their assemblies. Although we are not allowed to preach, it does give us the opportunity, through drama and music, to bring a Christian perspective to various aspects of life.

These visits are greatly appreciated by both the children and teaching staff.
